Non-invasive CVP Measurement
The Venus 1000 CVP System is a non-invasive central venous pressure (CVP) measurement system that utilizes the proven science of NIRS. Approved by Health Canada and CE Marked, the Venus 1000 has been shown to be comparable to measurements made by catheterization.
Using the Venus 1000 system, CVP measurements can be conducted without the risk, pain, time and costs associated with catheterization. Instead, an adhesive patch is placed over the external jugular vein that measures CVP, displaying it and the corresponding waveform in seconds.
Benefits of the non-invasive CVP system include:
- Real time, continuous, and easy to use
- No incision = no risk
- Reduced costs
- Reduced wait times for testing
- Can be used in outpatient and inpatient settings

Non-invasive ScvO2
Redefining measurement of blood oxygen data by providing non-invasive venous oxygenation (ScvO2) and arterial oxygenation (SpO2).
Conducting Scv02 measurements with the VA Oximeter eliminates the need for invasive catheterizations of your patients. The system consists of a handheld module with neck pressure sensor, and finger probe. Simply place an adhesive neck patch over the External or Internal Jugular, attach the finger probe and simultaneously measure Scv02 and Sp02, heart rate, and corresponding waveforms.
The VA Oximetry system is ideal for use in:
- Intensive Care
- Coronary Care
- Emergency Rooms
- Anaesthesia
- General Floors for Sepsis Assessment
